    The Art of the Pop-Up Shop Panel

    DIY PR Workshop

    Join Sonja Rasula from Unique USA for a hands-on PR workout! Learn a simple set of rules so that you can gain great PR without spending a fortune. You'll learn how to decide which media placement is best for you, how to write a pitch, who the exact people are to send your pitches and more! Find out what works and what doesn't, and come away prepped to execute your own public relations. You'll craft a pitch and Sonja will edit every student's work, so you leave class with a ready-to-send pitch!

    Using Email to Grow Your Online Business Workshop

    Join Allyson Van Houten & Julie Gora of Mailchimp for a look at how email can be a powerful tool you can use to support your online business. Learn about the benefits of using an email service provider, how email and social media work together and see real examples of great campaigns. The class will also have time for Q&A; and one-on-one newsletter critiques, so bring your your campaigns for some individual feedback.

    Packaging Workshop

    3:30 PM - 4:15 PM | dd:OUTPOST

    Work with the folks from Studio Neat to prototype packaging for your product. There will be materials and some experts on hand to help steer you in the right direction as you work with lots of paper and xacto knives to come up with a packaging solution! It's very important that you bring a sample product to this lab.

    Pitch Night + Drinks

    6:00 PM - 8:00 PM | STORY

    Grab a drink and show us what amazing products you've created. If your product is retail ready and you want to sell in one of the coolest stores in NYC, register here to pitch to founder Rachel Shechtman. Everyone is welcome to come and have a drink but only 25 will be able to pitch their products.
